We have 8 state of the art screens all with super comfy seats ranging in size from 80 to 240 seats offering both the big screen experience and something a little more intimate.

We offer the highest quality technical facilities and have a dedicated and friendly team to look after your needs and to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

Birthday Parties

Give your child a birthday party they will never forget and organise a cinema party at The Light. Our party packages suit any age range or group size and we can show anything from the latest releases or a selection of favourite classics.

We can book you into a public screening and pre-book your food and drinks, or for that extra special party have a private screening all to yourselves.

School Screenings

If you’re thinking of giving your students a treat to celebrate the end of term, why not pick a movie in your own private screen. We have an exciting range of films for you to choose from to reward and inspire your student.

We can add value to your educational curriculum and show screenings in one of our state of the art screens to support your drama, English literature, history and film and media studies departments. We have a programme of content, including event cinema, classic films and documentaries to support and bring your curriculum to life. If there is a particular film you would like to show your students, talk to us and we can discuss with our programming team.

We also offer a delicious range of drinks and cinema treats to make your visit even more memorable.

Our Bar and Diner

As well as your usual cinema treats, we offer freshly handmade pizzas, delicious desserts, great quality wine, beers, soft drinks and show stopping cocktails to make your visit even more memorable. We have something for everyone!

So whether you're looking for a kids party venue with a difference, seeking the perfect space for a private screening, or hosting a corporate event or celebration we can help you create an unforgettable experience for your guests.

Things you need to know:

• A non-refundable cleared deposit will be required to secure your booking;
• 14 days’ notice is required to book any party package;
• For children’s parties, a minimum number of accompanying adults will be required;
• Children cannot be left unattended at any time;
• Film times will be finalised 1-2 weeks prior to your booking date, however we will always try to confirm film choices in advance;
• The final balance along with guest numbers, food and drink choices need to be confirmed at least 10 days before your booking, otherwise film choices cannot be guaranteed.
