The Moon Thieves

Ma Man-shun (Edan LUI) - known as Monsieur - is an expert in “refitted” watches. Refitted watch makers buy pawned watches at low prices, remove the parts, refit them into custom-made, then sell them as well-preserved “original” watches for a profit. Refitted watches sit in a legal gray area since they are counterfeit watches made with real parts. Monsieur’s risky games finally gets him in trouble when he is nabbed by Uncle Royce (KEUNG To), the mastermind behind acclaimed secondhand watch deal, Royce Watches.

Uncle Royce is a second-hand watch seller on the surface, but he is actually a major player in the underground watch-stealing market. Uncle Royce, cold-blooded and arrogant, can kill without a blink. And now, Royce is forcing Monsieur to go to Tokyo in order to steal three Picasso luxury watches kept inside a place called “Quartz Watch”.

Royce has put together a team that includes veteran thief Bandit (Louis CHEUNG), explosives expert Plumber (Michael Ning) and young master lock breaker Yo (Anson LO). Monsieur can tell from the start that this is not a cohesive team. He notices that Bandit, Plumber and Yo seem to be each holding an ulterior motive of his own, and none of the three men seem to trust each other. An adventure filled with danger and crises is about to begin.
