Bringing you classic films from our most beloved directors and actors.
Through The Lens: Winona Ryder
4 April - 8 May
We're taking a side step this month to celebrate not one of our favourite directors, but one of our most beloved actors. Teenage star of cult 80's hits to leading lady in current blockbusters and TV shows, Winona Ryder has been on our screens for nearly 40years. We're here to showcase our favourite Winona films, from the ghoulish comedy Beetlejuice to the social commentary of Girl, Interrupted, and everything in between.
Through The Lens: Tom Cruise
23 May - 26 June
To celebrate the release of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, and in honour of Tom Cruise being awarded the BFI Fellowship, we take a look at his back catalogue of great films over the decades. Everyone's all action hero, we're bringing back not only the need for speed in Top Gun, but his Oscar nominated performance in Jerry Maguire, his early work in Risky Business, and his collaborations with the greats; Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man, and Director Stanley Kubrick in Eyes Wide Shut.
